Please take a minute to listen to a little of each of the songs I have posted here. They are meant to not only give you a sample of my playing and singing, but also my writing versatility as each song is Very different from the rest. I would love to work with you to play and perform your original songs also.

My instrument of choice is the electric bass and I enjoy not only being a vocalist, but also singing vocal harmonies. I am looking for the opportunity to join a combo that enjoys playing Older Classical Jazz/Big Band music along the lines of tunes like

"Stardust",
"Misty',
"All Of Me",
"Don't Get Around Much Anymore", etc

I also enjoy playing Country as it is so diverse in character these days. It is true however that classical jazz as described above is my favorite musical style.

I've been playing guitar and bass professionally since the mid 60's doing both singles gigs and working with various types of bands throughout the western states and Hawaii. I have not gigged since arriving in Utah in 1997. An injury has left me unable to continue with my "day-job" and I'm now looking for a group to work and create with.

I compose music and lyrics and record my material in my small 16-track studio.

please check out a couple of the songs listed there under each of the various genres. I composed all of the songs, did all vocals and instruments, but used a guitar synth and programable drums.

I hope to hook up with a band that enjoys making great music (covers but originals also) AND enjoys working with one another! Creating and performing original material with other writers would be my preference, but working with a quality cover band with only a few original tunes would be acceptable. It is an absolute however that we sync in personalities as well as musically.

It is not imperative that the band is gigging frequently as I can enjoy just playing good music, especially the old jazz standards. I would, however, enjoy playing gigs with the right group of musicians.
