ABOUT
"I am out to sing songs that will prove to you that this is your world and that if it has hit you pretty hard and knocked you for a dozen loops … no matter what color, what size you are, how you are built. I am out to sing the songs that make you take pride in yourself and your work."
— Woody Guthrie (1912-1967)
I've been playing in groups off and on since the late 1970s, mostly "for fun" and recording, with the occasional public performance. My latest bandmates (including my son) are moving away or moving on, so I am looking for one or two people to play, record, and maybe perform with.
I play rhythm guitar (mostly acoustic) but I don't think quite well enough to be a solo artist. I'm not too particular about the accompanying instruments, though bonus points awarded for cello or other bowed instrument. I'd love to work on harmonies, but I haven't done that much of that lately.
In addition to music, I have almost 35 years experience in graphic arts/photography, and more than that in audio recording, though I try to keep it simple, inexpensive, and "live."
