I was classicly trained in piano for 10 years (8-18years old) just started playing again at Princeton University. Self taught bass, electric and acoustic guitar. I have been on and off with playing music during college but finally serious about it again since I have a stable career. I personally practice 4-7 times a week.

Influences
I have a heavy influence from my father so back to Black Sabbath, Hendrix, Clapton, Jeff beck, Zappa, the list is endless in regards to rock back in the days. I go as far as The Residents, Renaldo and the Loaf with experimental (listen if you dare it's way out there)
That lead me to the following
Glassjaw is a top band for me
experimental (like Irepress they are post metal/rock, experimental)
Early 90's alternative (grunge) is a top genre for me
