melissadotsixpackatyhooodotcom God has continually placed a passion in my heart for music. I am a single mother of six children, having left an abusive husband and restarting in life...ever so desiring to sing for Christ and praise Him. I live in the Slidell, Louisiana area working as a self employed Health and Wellness Coach for those seeking a guide in weight loss, stress management, nutrition education and confidence building. Spiritual health and wellness plays a critical role in my coaching and my personal journey to healthier living. Singing is where God's called me and I continue to seek fellowship with other who share in this calling. I hope to learn from and with others...Glorifying God.

Musicians such as Margaret Becker, Bethany Dillon, Christy Nockels, Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp, Shane and Shane, Selah, and Mac Powell have influenced me musically. God's Holy Word has been the greatest influence... If it glorifies God, convicts me, or encourages me than I consider it to be an influence. My singing style leans towards that of Christy Nockels, Brooke Fraser, Joy Williams, Bethany Dillon.
