I am currently looking for an alto / half-soprano female co-singer (I would consider a soprano too) for rearrangements of beautiful Italian, Spanish, Brazilian, British pop cover songs of all times, which have not been published in the US (or if they did, never got the success they deserved). The co-singer I am looking for should be able to do creative stylizing, nice harmonies, and have good stage presence and confidence (the latter in case we decide to do gigs with a live audience). My goal is to to rearrange those songs both vocally and instrumentally, and, where appropriate, to change the lyrics (e.g. use a Spanish/English combination) to give them a more personal, modern, and charmy style, and appeal to the American public. Then make good recordings of those songs at my studio and have them distributed by major music distributors. I had a live performance last June 19th, with one of my co-singers, in front of an audience of about 350 people. The audience appreciated the songs, the arrangements, and the vocals, so I feel very good about it. One more thing is that my recording production does not need to be done with one specific singer, i.e. my plan is to produce quality music and that music can be recorded with several different co-singers, depending on the type of song, on the singer's availability, etc. Please contact me if you fit the profile and if you are interested in giving it a shot.
