When some die hards favorite rap artist gets defeated on their own song and they try to school you about how it's not a competition and play apologist. Like what? Rap is very much a competition and if you think it isn't you have little to no knowledge on rap. You're literally always in competition to outdo your peers whether with your own body of work, having the superior verse on a shared track and so on. The goal is always to be on top.
