I am probably older than most, and my experience in the past 15 years has been over in Eastern Europe. I am an ordained pastor, and we have just returned to the US for good.

Having said that, my music experience is life-long. I was raised in Washington State, and before I was 18, I was already the sub-director of our stage band, organizer of a dixieland band, member of a professional group in Tacoma, and a vocalist in several other chorus and choir groups.

I joined the Army in 1977, and in November, while in-processing in Germany, learned about the opportunity to possibly join Entertainment Showcase. Showcase was an elite Army performing group, under the Morale Support Division. I was accepted, and within just a few months, they wanted me to direct it. In walked a 6 foot beautiful blond country singer one day to audition. She was accepted, and we were married 4 months later. Next March will be 30 years.

I also worked in a studio in Germany, played with Arthur White Group (jazz- rock), and then left Showcase in 1978 to be able to work and travel on the weekends (making more money). We made quite a lot of money, traveling around Europe and performing. But that ended when we were transferred to Texas.

In Texas, back to Germany, and to Georgia- the Army kept moving us. In each place, I always located musicians, formed new groups, purchased equipment, recorded, traveled, and DRANK a lot.

My adoptive parents were alcoholics, and I was at the ripe old age of 14. By the age of 25, it was taking its' toll.
I was tired of my life of sin, and did not want to continue living the same way, because - even though I had been involved in things others only dream about, I was dissatisfied.

In 1984, I became a Christian. It changed my life.

Since then, music has just been a hobby. I directed a choir and led music for two years, but most of the time since, music has been secondary.

We are needing musicians. We have some, but if you are available, please give me a call.864-353-7258
