Influences
Any sort of real music really. (Not over produced and glossy.) Any singer /songwriter types. Steve Earle, Joe Ely, John Hiat, Jimmy LaFave, Toni Price, Keb Mo all come to mind. Blues/jump blues/swing are a long time passion as is alt country. Straight jazz is a more recent one though I don't consider myself anywhere near good enough to play it. I love Victor Wooten's philosophy on music though again, I'm light years from being able to play anything like him.
