About

I'm a solid and creative bassist looking for a PAID gig in Omaha. I already play in two original bands - Mint Wad Willy and The Clever Fellows - so anything else I do needs to make me a little money. I've been playing bass for about 18 years. I have been in a few pretty good and well-known bands in Omaha (Kill Bosby, The Brit House Band, Edge of Arbor, OK Hemingway) and there are plenty of recordings and even a video or two of me playing bass floating around out there on the internet. I'm a pretty good bass player. I expect you to be pretty good at what you do. I do not sing, though I wish I could. I enjoy funk, pop, blues, jazz, indie, a little alt-country, a little punk, but ultimately I'm a rock guy.

I have adult responsibilities, but plenty of time for music if I find the right group of people with the right mindset. So if you're looking for a good bass player, contact me: timothy DOT foolery AT gmail DOT com

Influences

Rock, pop, funk, blues, jazz, indie, alt-country, punk, classical, Spanish guitar...

Led Zeppelin and Kula Shaker are my two favorite bands. Lately, however, I've been listening to: Portgual. The Man, Wolf People, The Grays, The Refreshments, Cracker, Procol Harum, R.E.M., Dada, Supertramp, Idlewild, Teenage Fan Club, Big Country, and many others.

Equipment List

Lots of pro gear, including Fender, G&L, Warmoth, and several custom basses. Genz Benz Streamliner 900 head, Schroeder 1210 cab. Markbass combo amp. A couple cool pedals.
