"The Tonys (can kiss my ass)"
"The Tonys (can kiss my ass)" Track number: 4 Album: "Go to the Light"
The writer (me) has stormed on to the stage and insulted first the doctor and then the pianist. The Tony's The starving artist suffers His life, a hell on earth. How to appraise some Thing Made New? How do you judge it’s worth? But the martyr is made whole by His struggles and his strife And he steals his time do his work and His work becomes his life! Some hustlers pose as artists And do it for the fame. Some do it for the money I do (it) cuz I’m insane. A true artist does it out of love. He doesn’t care to star. He doesn’t think of fame or fortune Or kudos from afar…faaar…? Chorus: The Tony’s can kiss my ass (I know) I’m lacking in style and class! My costumes and sets are so crass And these lyrics and tunes won’t pass But when you see me off, off, Broadway You’ll think I own that Great White Way I’ll shake ‘em up and do it my way With oddball charm and my own pizzaz…az…azzzz? (beat) Verse: So the writer must play god sometimes, The writing is the thing. An/ar/chy & chaos theory And a bit of super string. But the overriding factor Is a need to Make It New and so my friend it’s time to go and here’s what they can doooooo…ewwwww. Chorus: (and so) The Tony’s can kiss my ass (You know) I’m dissing them all, en masse. (en masse) I’m writing this one piece of trash (piece of trash!) And then it’s back to the sticks with the cash. But when you read (the) rants and raves and hur-rahs You’ll kick yourself for not jumping on This runaway hit with no prime mover A two-bit show just made for you…and you?(and me) (and so) The Tony’s can kiss my ass (I know) I’m lacking in style and class! My costumes and sets are so crass And these lyrics and tunes won’t pass. (One more chorus with kazoo or whistling as music fades and The Writer takes grandiose bows, exits and Otto and Peter return to marks.)

The Main Theme which bookends The Play; auditions for a church choir or glee club to sing it will be ongoing. Likely a finale-medley will be written interpolating most of the songs in the play. PLAY ENDS HERE.

"Searching" Track number: 9 Album: "Go to the Light"
Instrumental not written into the play yet but could lead-up to intermission or could be an avant guard interpretative dance number, or the patient confused and wandering about the stage.
