Hi. We are Goodbye Etc., a pop punk band from Philadelphia. We're currently auditioning bassists. We have a debut EP, play a lot of shows, and are looking for just the right person to fill the position. We're looking for somebody really into pop punk (Green Day, Alkaline Trio, MXPX, Lawrence Arms, Descendents for example) and just good pop/rock in general who can write melodic bass lines, has good equipment (like a half-stack), is energetic and moves around on stage, can practice 3 times a week, is in their 20's, is looking to and will be able to tour very often, has transportation, is very dedicated and motivated, and is all and all a nice person to get along with. Please don't waste our time, we're looking for somebody really serious about going places with a PROFESSIONAL band. This is a full time position. We've had a bunch of bassists come in for auditions, but nobody understood the ad and was just looking for something to do for fun on the side or to fill free time. While we want to have fun, we're looking for somebody serious, so if you can't handle devoting lots of time and energy to this, please don't even bother responding. If you have school, girlfriend, job, etc... that you think that is going to be in the way, again, dont bother responding.
