The Good Time Billy Peaches Orchestra has been in existence since 1968 under a variety of configurations and circumstances. FIrst organized with a variety of professorial type musicians from Northern Illinois University and the surrounding Chicago area. From big band , swing, parisian jazz, western favorites, and became a musical Garrison Keiler type house band, with story telling, the Goodtime Billy Peaches Radio Hour, etc.
Now the founder, Goodtime Billy his own self, is in Tucson, and looking for good musicians to make the band come alive yet again and peg the fun meter as well as accompany Billy on his webinar monthly telecast. See .goodtimebillypeaches. And to play with Billy at any affair willing to listen.
While I spoof around the music is serious fun, and hopefully the sound is again spectacular.
This is a great opportunity for semi or retired excellent musicians to play in a good band again. Billy is a top percussionist, and his story telling makes for performances that are truly fun
