The good news. Have played for a long time. Have taken plenty of lessons. Read music. Play piano a little. Understand theory. Will play anything as long as people are willing to practice in a structured, committed way. I know how to work at stuff, even stuff I'm not familiar with.
The bad news. Haven't played in awhile. No repetoire at this time. But willing to take your material, work it over on my own and get together after, say ten or so tunes are in playable shape.
Maybe the best thing is to get together, agree on some tunes and loose direction; work out some set lists. Practice like hell till it really sounds good and then, well, who knows?
All blues. Good rock as long as the instrumentation is quality and out front. Like jazz standards too. Would like to learn more about country too. I like Hendrix, Sonny Landredth; Knopfler; Johnny Winter; Chris Duarte; and just about everyone else. Can't ape any one style to be truthful, but like all the good stuff. Not too much into pop rock like Billy Joel and such.
Les Paul; Strat; Various accoustic guitars, amps, effects etc.
