Hello all, I'm new to the area and am looking to either join a band or help put one together. I'm a very technically oriented guitar player who knows the value of keeping things commercially appealing for the success of the band. One of my biggest style influences is Dream Theater (though I would never claim to have the talent or expect any band mates to fill those shoes) and I would like to join or put together a band that reflects that kind of progressive influence.

I live a very drug/alchohol/smoke free lifestyle and would like to find a band or members for a band that share this lifestyle.

I've played for 20 years and while I prefer progressive rock the most,I have played a wide range of styles. Basicaly I'm up for any style that includes a loud guitar, a pounding drummer, and cutting loose on stage.

I'm not a stage hog, I'm more of a team player which means when it's time to write an origional, I like it to be written so that all members get their moment in the spotlight.
