ABOUT
We are looking for a drummer that is experienced and that is looking to build something for the future at a nice, slow, controlled pace - We are all in our 30's and not looking for members that are just starting out(sorry) - We have each played in bands for over 16 years and would like to find someone that has similar experience.
The music is a mix of rock, punk, metal, jazz, blues and classical - The sound is basically rock with a mix of other things - Some of the music at this point is a little more aggressive and some is a little mellower - We basically write whatever sound and style of music that comes out at the time - We do not want a whole lot of limitations in what we write so the people involved will need to be open to trying different things - We have three people in the band that are contributing to the vocal sound, three very differnt sounds - We have two male vocalists and one female.
We usually practice on Wed. and Sun. nights - Please do not respond to this if you have no interest in building a business as well as a band - We would like to find a person with some business background - Please don't misunderstand and think that we are only about business and money, we just want to actually see a return from all of the time, money and energy that is usually put out when working on a band.
As far as the music is concerned, we are only looking to write songs that we enjoy and that don't limit us as a band or individually - We will be doing electric and acoustic sets - We have a short set of music finished and some opening shows set up starting at the end of January - We need a person that is dynamic and that has controll - Communication is very important and self motivation as well - We don't want to work with a person that needs direction all the time(in music or business).
