This is the next level of music. Rock, hip-hop, jazz, and funk all started with the blues, went their separate ways, molded American history, engulfed artists and elevated them to God-like status, and have now come back together, reformed, renewed, and renamed. This is Green Sunshine. Three Emcees and a DJ, spawned from the early masters of hip-hop, have joined forces with a trumpet player, classically trained by the masters of higher education, a soul singer from the streets of Harlem, and a rhythm section that continuously redefines the limits and possibilities of the guitar, bass, and drums.
