About
Been playing for about 4 years as lead/rhythm guitar and vocalist in the Lucy Hammond Band gigging regularly around Oregon and Washington, but now looking for another project. I would prefer to jump into a situation where there is an established band I could fold into, to play electric guitar and sing.
Interested in lots of different styles ranging from modern jazz, CCM, acoustic folk, etc. Too old to waste time, too young to ignore my addiction to music and performance synergy with a group that really grooves together. I've heard my style described as "tasteful," meaning that I know when and what to play or sing, and more importantly when NOT to.
If you are looking for a singer/guitarist to fill out your sound, let me know and let's see if the right mix is there.
Influences
Robben Ford, SRV, James Taylor, David Wilcox, Stephen Curtis Chapman, John Mayer, Joni Mitchell, Pat Metheny, etc.
