I am Paul Duncan, I'm 32. I've been playing guitar and writing music for about 13 years now. For the last 4 years I have been playing drums, currently for The Gen Pool www.myspace.com/thegenpool - all of their material was recorded live in my basement project studio, and mixed and mastered by me, as well.

I've completed professional recording classes, and for the last 2 years have been perfecting my project recording studio and the quality of the sounds I can attain.

Who I'm really looking for is singer/songwriters that have music in their heads, but don't know how to make it reality - even if you only have words, I can make ALL the music for you, AND help you with melodies and song construction. I am competent in all the "main" instruments of pop and rock music, and I have a true talent and understanding of song structure and production. I can make Rap beats, Pop songs, Rock songs, etc. If I produce an album (or only one song) for you, my goal is to highlight your art and enhance your vision, NOT to step over it with my music (I'm thinking of Puff Daddy talking all over B.I.G's tracks).

Currently, I am producing a solo album for Irish Mike, a local artist, which should be finished by the end of 2009. Myspace address coming soon, I'm VERY proud of this project, and I CAN do the same for YOU...

Additionally, I am a state liscensed hypnotherapist, which in the creation of music I use to help the writer delve into themes and concepts of their songs/lyrics. No, I don't "put you under", but my understanding and use of basic "waking hypnosis" has already proven itself in helping the artist attain "depth" in their individual arts.

I listen to lots of stuff. I love old classic rock, Motown and other oldies, Reggae, "modern" or "alternative" rock, blues, Post-Rock and "experimental" bands. You play it, I'll give it a fair listen...
