About
*** Currently looking for singers for an original rock/metal/progressive band. We've got an album's worth of material complete. Hard to say who we sound like...maybe Mudvayne sans vocals? ***
I have been playing music for about 25 years now. Piano/keyboard and bass (bass guitar and double/acoustic) are my primary instruments. I also sing. I'm a huge wannabee drummer and write most of my parts...though I'm not actually a good drummer per say :-) I'll play just about anything under the sun, and have done quite a bit of session/recording work in all genres. Not really a country fan though.
I have been involved in several progressive and jazz/fusion projects over the last few years. I am currently working on finishing a rock opera/concept piece with two other musicians. I've been working on some solo stuff that is funk/rock and jazz. I could definately use a guitarist and horn player(s) for that (most parts are written and can be provided), and possibly a drummer...
I'm currently playing acoustic rock with a band, and have another trio that just started writing (avantgard metal?).
I have a modest professional grade home studio and can collaborate remotely if the opportunity is right.
Influences
Anything but country :-)
