I'm looking at getting a few guys/gals together to form a band that would be interested in meeting up on the level of once a week and eventually gigging every so often. I have a wife and young child, so I'm not interested in becoming a rockstar, just a little local fame. I'm descent on vocals (did 10 or so open mics last summer), but I'm not looking to be the only man up front (sharing with a 2nd or even a 3rd lead vocal is preferable). Instrument wise I'm a guitarist (acoustic and electric rhythm and a bit of lead) and I've got pro gear, transportation, career, the whole bit and live and work here in Vancouver. I've only been in one band back in Eastern Washington for about 4 years, but have a connection or two for maybe a couple of shows. I'd be interested in joining or forming either a cover band or an originals group.
