(Note about the group picture -- it was taken in 1989 and only 2 of those original members are left, the 2 in the front. The guitarist in the other picture joined in 1990). A brief description of our band: we have played together for MANY years. We were voted the "Top One Nighter Band" in Colorado in the 70's and early 80's under the name "Roundtree". We are trying to put it back together for a part-time band. We all are busy with families and work, but also committed to making this work NO MATTER WHAT. Will probably play 24 to 36 gigs a year. In the past we've done very well concentrating on corporate parties and other high-paying gigs. Not really in it for the money at this point, but want to make it worth our time.

Vocals are one of our main strengths. We have a front man that many people consider to be the best rock singer in Colorado (no kidding) plus two additional lead singers, and our harmonies have always been excellent. Right now we need a solid rhythm guitarist who can sing high, preferably up to a D or higher, for that high harmony above the lead vocal. Want to sing some lead? No problem! We like to give the front man a break once in a while.

We have a complete band right now (all 5 of us sing) but still want to augment the vocals with that upper range. We also prefer having two guitarists for added versatility. If you're a VERY strong lead player you may be able to take that spot too, and then the current lead guitarist would play more rhythm (and push for double leads). ;^)

We will play classics from bands including Springsteen, Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Journey, Styx, Beatles, ZZ Top, Stevie Wonder, Foreigner, Joe Walsh, Bad Company, Elton John, Aerosmith, Kansas, etc.

Once again, we have played together for years and know each other very well, but we presently are not a working band. We have a great practice space and all the equipment we need (including P.A. and lights), and we hope to be playing out in 3 to 4 months depending on the practice schedule.
