Looking for a drummer who is well educated but who could care less about academics. I do have a bachelor's degree in jazz guitar but I don't expect you to be academically correct what so ever, I do expect you to know your math and also be "in the pocket" side and have a groove. Playing in different tempos and feeling comfortable in other metrics rather than 4/4 is a most. I'm not looking for a hobbyist, I'm looking for someone who is a 100% serious musician who wants to be paid and live of his art.
I've been playing in Puerto Rico's local scene pushing my solo guitar project for 4 years and now I'm here living in Miami and I decidedly want to incorporate a drummer to push this concept a lot further. I have about 15 completely finished songs of my authority and many others on the go.
