I am looking to start a vocal band/group whose style will be a blend of praise and worship, contemporary christian, southern gospel, traditional(vocal arrangements of hymns mainly), and acappella vocals. I am a tenor vocalist, a keyboardist/pianist, a saxophonist, and a songwriter and I would need at least 1-2 more tenors, a baritone, and strong bass singer. Also songwriting ability is a huge plus as I want to do a lot of original songs as well.

Influences:

My influences are groups like Newsong, the Gaither Vocal Band, Glad, 4Him, The Cathedrals, Phillips, Craig and Dean and many many more including praise and worship artists like Ross Parsley, Ron Kenoly, and Don Moen.

Equipment List:

Small JBL sound system, 2 alto saxophones, acoustic guitar, and I even have a harmonica.

Members Of Band:

Right now, I am just looking to talk to people who are seriously interested in this type of group and who hopefully share my passion for God's music. If there is enough interest and the right group comes together then we'll take it to the next level. The first priority though, is to find the right blend of voices and hone the sound to where it needs to be to be able go professional.
