I'm a recent college grad, violin performance major. I've been playing for 18 years, in orchestras all my life, and have been in a few jazz ensembles. I was even in an amateur bluegrass band in Japan for two years. My current career path, however, keeps me really busy during the week, so I am looking for a trio, quartet, or quintet to play with on the weekends in order to get my chops back up. Eventually, I'd be interested in weekend gigs. I can read sheet music, improvise, and am very comfortable in jazz, bluegrass, or traditional string quartet settings.
