Both my friend and I have been playing music together for about two years and just recently we decided to form a full band together. I'm very influenced by effectuals and very melancholy sounding music, and my friend is influenced by old 20/30's blues and jazz musicians. We're just starting off and both of us have left our former bands for something concrete and different. We basically want to make music you can smoke pot to all day long. So far, we have this dark "Doors" meets Arabia sound...It's interesting, trust me.

Influences:

Our influences have always included a variety of very raw sounding musicians with a lo-fi recording style, to a wide variety of musicians who've explored the use of effectuals: My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth, Rolling Stones, Dizzy Gillespie, George Harrison, Sebadoh, John Frusciante, Nick Drake, Mogwai, Iggy and the Stooges, Pavement, The Temptations, Sly and the Family Stone, The Velvet Underground, Judy Collins,The Doors, Marvin Gaye, Dinah Washington, Bessie Smith, Neil Young, Jimi Hendrix
