Denver based hard rock/metal/sludge/stoner rock band looking for a vocalist/ rhythm guitarist. we'd prefer someone who can play guitar at a rhythm or support level, and sing but open to just vocals.
just getting this thing off the ground. talented experienced guitar, drums, and bass. style not defined but i expect it to be riff based, but experimenting with odd time signatures without loosing the groove. looking for someone who understands that, sometimes Less Is More, but also able to belt it.
if you like electric wizard, orange goblin, red fang, kyuss, witch, high on fire and that type of stuff, we will probably like you a lot. assume the project will be hybrid colabrative thing .
we are laid back guys with medium to medium rare level of dedication. this is not a full time thing for us. we would like to be paid to play and record but realize its not likley to happen. we have fun doing this and enjoy the fact thats its a low pressure situation. we practice 4-6 times a month unless there are a bunch of gigs scheduled. we're flexible, and willing to please, with advanced notice. must have wheels and not be a flake or totally wigged out on drugs. do what you need to do so long as you can make it to practice and shows and sing/play well... and dont require babysitting before, during, or afterwards. at the same time, if you are straight edge, we might annoy you. drop a note if this sounds like fun to you:* poopysaphire at * and ill give you more details. see local craigslist post with same description for contact info.
