I am looking to meet/perform and/or record with some new (to me) musicians... nothing in particular, but as my schedule permits I just want to experiment with some new stuff/new ideas/new people... I am pretty open (time permitting) as to what that means - I love playing with seasoned pros and with "beginners" alike... just long as it is new, creative and fun!
My main focus is probably production music for film and television which I submit to production libraries - my catalog is pretty massive (over 4,000 works). As far as live performance, I play in a few Grateful Dead cover bands (lead guitar and vocals), but that is by far not my only interest - I have a pretty nice recording studio in my home and I am recording something most days - I play with just about every style of music there is - and I like to blend them together with no rules - from rock, blues, country to electronic and new age stuff - I like to get very experimental when it comes to recording and I am looking to record stuff with others in other styles and push myself a bit to join creative forces. I am also interested in performing more - I would play guitar or bass for that - I play most styles and just want to get out more often than I am currently - which is usually just a couple times per month - I love playing the resort towns in the mountains the best - its ok with me if I don't come home with a lot of money as long as the expenses are paid and the gig is fun
in summary - I record and perform all the time and I am always open to meeting and working with new musicians for all kinds of endless fun!
