ABOUT

I am a singer/songwriter who is going back to following her dreams. I've performed at a local publishers house here in Nashville. In Atlanta, I was accepted to perform at the “Atlantis Music Conference” in 2008 and was invited to return in 2009 as well. I was also asked to be apart of the “500 Songs for Kids Foundation” in 2009. I have done several charity events and performed as an artist at the “Inman Park Festival" in 2010. The music on this site is pretty old, but I have written some new material and I am now looking to record that very soon. It's the end of 2018, I am just now returning to the reasons I moved to Nashville. TO WRITE and perform again. IF this interests you, and you would like to have a cowriter and play out, then give me a shout. Let’s go have some fun jamming!!

Cheers,
HM

SONGS FOR KIDS FOUNDATION is a non-profit foundation that enriches the lives of children in need through music. We bring musicians year round to hospitals, special needs kids camps, and all places where kids are in need.

Kids can suffer from isolation when dealing with an illness or hardship. These same kids, however, wear big smiles as they sing, play and bang on drums with our artists.

Our musicians don't just play for the kids - the kids are the stars of the show!

Each hospital and camp activity delivers a unique experience, and it's not just the kids who benefit from our programs. The families, hospital staff, and camp personnel also participate and enjoy our programs as much as the kids.

Even kids who can't leave their rooms or are undergoing lengthy treatments are treated to visits and performances by our musicians.

Our KIDS ROCK! Songwriting Program is one example of our many exciting initiatives.

KIDS ROCK! features producers and engineers assisting kids with writing, playing and recording original songs. The kids enjoy this creative outlet while they undergo various treatments, such as dialysis, and they even get to make a CD of their own music!

All of our programs are designed to inspire and uplift, whether we're teaching a child to play a musical instrument, enjoying a sing-a-long, or even arranging a visit by a favorite artist.

500 bands playing 500 songs to raise money for kids.. At Smiths Olde Bar April 29th-May 8th, 2010

It's time again to celebrate Atlanta's funnest and wackiest festival weekend- the Inman Park Festival!

Make sure your plans include coming by our house on Sunday afternoon for a cold drink or two and a bite to eat while you listen to the great sounds of The Heather Marie Band . Our good friend Heather Williams and her awesome five-piece band http://www.myspace.com/hearheathermarie will provide live music for us a while. You and your friends/family are free to use our house as homebase while you enjoy Festival and are welcome to hang out with us. If you are so inclined, bring something to share with the group.

Party starts at 2:00 and band starts at 3:00. Don't forget traffic gets crazy on our street. We may be able to pick you up with the golf cart if you park further away.

Singer/songwriter night!
