Anyone out there dig Mike Ness (Social Distortion), Hank Williams III, Eddie Spaghetti/Supersuckers? In other words, country with a punk attitude? I am putting together a back-up band and I'd love to find an accordion player and a fiddle player to complete the line-up. I love classic country (Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, Eddy Arnold, Willie Nelson, the list goes on and on) because the rebelliousness, attitude, and abandon mirror those of punk rock. Now that my punk band has disbanded I want to give country the kick in the ass it so desperately needs. Anyone wanna come along for the ride? I'd really prefer someone who isn't in any other bands. And don't expect to make much money or get much press. But if you wanna play music that'll get the room stompin' and hollerin' you should give me a shout.
