I'm very interested in joining a band (preferably my own age, but that's flexible) that takes its commitments seriously with the goal of performing original material. I have 10 years of experience playing in rock, swing, and blues bands and I played in an 18-piece jazz orchestra for 4 years. I much prefer playing in the pocket as an accompanist to taking solos and being in the limelight.

I've had the good fortune to have played in a wide variety of venues, ranging from small bars and juke joints to The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. I have some festival experience, including The South Street Festival and The Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival. Additionally, I have some experience recording in professional studios.
