Hi, I'm Scott.

I'm a keyboardist/vocalist. I sing lead or harmonize and am pretty good with band vocal harmony arrangements and sound production.

As of July-2009, I am new to the Hobbs NM area.

I recently joined the RUSTIC JUNCTION band from Hobbs, NM. We play rock, country, blues, R&B and originals.

Most of the songs on this site are of my former band, 5 Finger Discount in Charlotte, NC. It was comprised of four guys. Three were from North Carolina and myself from Texas. I was born and raised in Texas, then moved to the eastern United States when I was in my mid twenties. Then I spent about 3-1/2 years in Nashville. After that, I moved to Canada and became a Canadian citizen (dual citizenship). While up there I played with both classic rock (electric) bands and acoustic folk-rock/country bands. If I could can say one thing special about the Canadians I played with, it would be that they had awesome, perfect harmonies.

5 Finger Discount rocked the Carolinas for about 2-1/2 years playing biker bars, private parties and outdoor events. In July-2009 I got transferred to Hobbs to work my day-job as an engineer.

Hey, I can hang with the best, I'm a natural on keys and vocals, and I'm the kind of musician who is dynamic, in-the-mix with the band and I rarely ever make mistakes playing. From a skill-level point of view, I consider myself a professional worthy to play with the best.

After arriving in Hobbs, I thought to myself that I would never find a band that could rival the 5 Finger Discount band. Oh how wrong I was. The Rustic Junction band is even better.
