44 year old married 21 years, a 16 year old daughter and an 18 year old son..both are college bound. I'm a Social Studies/Special Ed teacher for the local city High School.
God took me from the streets and a pretty broken life, into his arms. Because of His active involvement in my life, I now have a degree in Theology & Philosophy.
I have ALWAYS had a love for music. 9 years of piano lessons as a child, but I haven't played in 30+ years. Picked up the guitar when I was 18ish and taught myself rhythm. Played Bass and acoustic guitar in local church bands off and on over the last 10 years. 2012 to present day has been a dramatic shift to learn lead/melody on electric guitar. Educationally, my focus is on knowing all the modes of the Ionian scale.
I've had a vision of starting a band composed of mature...lol...older musicians who have a love for God. Another goal I have is to begin recording (Audio & video).
I would consider myself an intermediate guitarist with (as my wife would say) an obsessive drive to be competent.

Members Of Band
Local Church band with a core group consisting of a drummer, one vocalists who play rhythm guitar, the other vocalist plays rhythm fill, and lead. bass player, and I play rhythm & lead guitar. We've recently added a pianist.
