I started out playing electric guitar, and took lessons at my local church every saturday. I learned my basic skills, but sadly money got tight and I had to stop taking lessons. I don't play electric guitar that much anymore, but occationally I'll learn an acoustic song for fun. Shortly after I took up the bass guitar. I'm self taught at bass, and I can play nearly anything. I play a lot of slap bass mostly, like red hot chili peppers type stuff. I've been playing both instruments for about two years and I plan on continuing to do so. I practice everyday for at least twenty minutes, often longer. I have a lot of free time to kill, so I would make a really good committed member. I've never played an actual gig, but I have subsituted for my friend's band when the bass player was sick. The most people I've every played in front of is probably around 30 people or so, maybe 40. I've jammed with my friends multiple times, but they aren't very committed. I'd like to find a group of people who enjoy making music as much as I do and as often as I do. If you're interested, don't hesitate to let me know. =)
