Someone asked me once how many strings, combined, that I play. I added up my celtic harp strings (36) plus piano (88) and if I did my math right, it resulted in 124. The next question was - "at the same time?" Never having actually thought about it before, but reviewing my usual peformance setup, I had to say "yes!". It's hard to explain unless you see me live. My performance and compositional experience quite runs the gamut. I have gone from being classically trained, as a kid, in piano - to keyboards in electronic acts, bass guitar in heavy metal and punk, back to electronica, celtic harp both solo and in larger folk ensembles, techno/trance and darkwave, and original piano and string compositions. All over the map? Maybe. But what a great ride it's been so far. Thanks for reviewing my recordings and compositions. Perhaps I could help your venture out.
