i'm 33 years old and decided to lesrn guitar when i was 26. i studied trumpet in school, so i already had some understanding of theory.
i used to live in maine and had a band that played out a few times every summer. now i live in philly and haven't met any musicians that aren't already in bands.
we used to play original modal instrumentals that had kind of a surfy/north african sound. and for covers we used to do old timey/bluegrassy stuff, misfits and dead kennedys, manu chao and other weird random stuff. mainely we had a sense of humor about things. email me at isidroamador

EQUIPMENT
i have an electric guitar, a couple of acoustic guitars. an old peavy p.a. system with one working speaker that i use as sort of a half stack for my guitar. i have a peavy minx bass amp. an old peavy patriot bass. and a perl export series drum set. guitar is my main instrument, but a can play the bass and drums too.
