ABOUT

I've been a professional musician for over 15 years, depending on music for my income for most of that time. I've played everything from medieval music to country, Irish music to progressive rock. I've been a soloist and I've been an accompanist. I've done lots of gigs substituting for regular band members who couldn't make it to a gig, or as part of specially assembled groups for genre-specific gigs. At this point I can safely say that I have literally thousands of hours of stage time under my belt, in all sorts of situations.
I also have quite a bit of experience in the studio, both as a session player as well as producing albums for myself and other independent artists.
For a number of years now my main job has been working with vocal groups doing lots of tight 3 part harmonies. Nailing those harmonies is one of my favorite feelings.

EQUIPMENT

I've got acoustic and electric guitars, an electric bass, an upright bass (the upright was my primary job for a number of years), a keyboard with some decent sounds, as well as a variety of other things like harmonicas, a melodica, some percussion, etc.
I also have home studio equipment that I've used now to produce several cd's for myself and others.
