Lifetime Musician. Grew up learning and playing with great talent all over Chicago. Traveled accross this country with some very talented local bands.
The last 10 years have been dedicated to writing/composing songs. Currently have 2 cds released with CDBABY.COM. Will release a 3rd cd this fall.
I'm looking to get back on stage as a bass player with the right band. They must be committed, willing to rehearse until we get it right, and we got to be funkier than a arm pit.
Gigs must be booked and cash must be flowin. I'm a little rusty......but don't worry about me. Once we decide what we're going to do, I'm committed and know how to put in the work. And you won't be disappointed (Trust me).
As far as the number of gigs I am willing to do in a week. Well, that depends on how much we are making a night. Incentive is a great motivator. Let's talk (smile).....
James Brown, Quincy Jones.
As a musician, the bass guitar has always been my #1 instrument. During the 80's and 90's, I followed in the footsteps of all the great bass players of that time.
Verdine White, Marvin Isley, Louis Johnson, on and on and on.......
As a Songwriter/composer, I admire "Q" because he has written for everyone.
I have a standard home studio system. I use it everyday to write new material. I own a 5 string Musicman and amp, just in case I get lucky.
