Before you read: I'm looking for a band to either join or start. Singer has to Sing and not Scream. Even though it may contradict the former sentence: I will play any style of music even if it does sound like noise. Because to me, music is music.

9 years experience guitar player who likes to play nearly anything. I don't really trust the web, but in this case I'm willing to try it out. I'm basically looking for anyone who enjoys playing and is serious about starting a band. I used to play in a number of bands, and we used to play everything from pop to metal. I enjoy performing, and would much rather be a show monkey than work in any other dead end job.

I like jamming out, and mixing styles of nearly any kind. I prefer rhythm with a little bit of lead thrown in, but mostly rhythm because I find it more fun and harder to play. I don't count in the traditional sense of 1-2-3-...etc... But I tend to want to "Feel" the music and play off of everybody else; even if what I play doesn't sound like it is derivative of anything.

I'm friendly and as long as you're not cocky I won't say anything about your playing style or techniques, because in a band, you're supposed to have fun and not take it too seriously. When you start taking things too seriously that's when people start to not like you.

I just want to jam and have fun. No drama, no b-s. I'm tired of people getting too serious and not wanting to play anything. I'm available almost always, and I would like to start to gig, if not now...then soon. I really enjoyed playing, and I want to get back to it. I have a bit of music theory basics under my belt and some playing experience, I hope to expand the playing experience with a band.

I do want to play, NO BS! If I join your band, I will learn anything and everything you want me to learn. I am that dedicated, that I will learn any style that is needed to help the band progress as well as myself. It is my belief that any musican should be willing to learn anything that is handed to them because that is one of many ways that a musician could grow. I have a limit, I will do anything older than 1980 as long as it's great to jam to (ie Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath...etc etc).
