ABOUT

I have a versatile playing style which feeds off the blues, jazz and country. I tend to groove more that blow up but can break loose when necessary. I come from a musical family of which a few were regulars on the Hee Haw Show if you're old enough to know what that was. I actually have the snare from the show.

Influences

My influences change sparatically dependent upon what I'm listening too. If I had to name drummers who I aspire to that would be Buddy Rich, Travis Barker, Jo Jo Mayer, Benny Greb...

EQUIPMENT

I have a few options:

Accoustic Drums:
Yamaha Absolutle Maple (Natural Finish) 8, 10, 12, 13, 14,16 toms, 22" kick. Yamaha Hex Rack, Sabian and ziljian cymbals.
PDP by DW Maple Pure White 8, 10, 12, 14,16 and 22" Kick.
I don't typically use the full set when playing. Just select what is appropriate for the gig and leave the rest at home.

Electronic Drums
Roland TD30 KV Pro Electronic Drum set - Runs through a MacBook Pro using Superior Drummer 2.0 Software and the NY Studios Recording Group.
Roland SPD SX Electronic Sampling Pad.
Roland SPD 30 Electronic Percusion Pad.

I run all this through your PA via a single1/8" to balance XLR, or 8 direct outs for your sound engineer or through my own mix of a Yamaha MG16 USB analog mixer (which can send a passive signal to you mix as well) and 1or2 QSC115 powered PA speakers.
