About

Hi there, my name is Jamie. I am a 24 year old female singer. I just moved to Kentucky about 4 days ago all the way from Florida! I was the lead singer of several bands down there since i was 18 years old. We did covers and originals. I write lyrics as well. I love love love music, and am extremely motivated to practice! I don't have any desire to be in a non working band. I can sing anything from Janis Joplin, AC/DC, led Zeppelin (really raspy) to red hot chili peppers, foo fighters, rage against the machine, incubus, or even super sweet new music styles. I have a very diverse voice and am open to playing just about anything.

Influences

Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, RHCP, Foo Fighters, GreenDay, oh gosh...to many to list

Equipment List

I have a powered mixer which has some neat effects and more than enough outputs, 3 amazing monitors, cables, mics, a tascam digital recording studio that burns music that you record into it - right onto a cd (you can master it and everything! super handy) and also my own transportation. I want to be in a working band, that sees practice as a necessity. I'd love to create originals and really get out there, but have no problem learning covers.
I am a confident and yet down to earth singer. I know how to work the stage, and the crowd - but i am always open to corrective criticism. I would greatly enjoy being in a band that is hard working and feels like the right fit. If I sound like the kind of person you would be interested in my number is (941) 822 3221. Thank you for your time :)
