At this point I'm really just looking for other musicians to play with. If it works out that I find a band that I can be comfortable and productive with, then great. But right now I'm happy with just about any kind of collaboration and I'm really hoping to experiment with styles that I wouldn't normally consider playing.
Pearl Jam, The Dead Kennedys, R.E.M., Steely Dan, Peter Green, Rickie Lee Jones, George Harrison (I guess I have to say The Beatles, too.), Mark Knopfler, Jethro Tull, The Pixies, Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Tom Petty, Sublime, Chili Peppers, The Who, Queen
I'll only list what's worth listing...Fender Tele Deluxe, 1964 Trutone (A cheap vintage hollowbody with a very gritty sound...I love it.), Synsonic Classical guitar, 1967 Bruno Conqueror (acoustic), Epiphone Bass Guitar, two Peavy backstage amps (30 and 50 watt), Epiphone bass amp (15 watt) and a Danelectro Nifty Fifty (30 watt...i think), Roland Electric Piano, mic and boom stand, 4 track recorder, multi-effects guitar pedal, and a couple metronomes and a harmonica (teehee).
I also have a brand-new violin that I've been working with. It hasn't clicked yet, but I'd be willing to let someone else use it during a session.
