Artistic, intelligent, creative, clever, witty, sarcastic, observant, inventive, sexy, unconventional, anti-authoritarian, far beyond the ordinary...

And one of the hottest up and coming indie folk/pop/punk/rock bands ever to hit the Denver music scene!

Taking a page from bands like Cursive, Tokyo Police Club, Rilo Kiley, and Manchester Orchestra, Jane Lane serves up an eclectic mix of violin, high voltage guitar, keyboards, electronics, and percussion in its own unique brand of kick ass. Both in the recording studio and in live performance, with Jane Lane, art is happening. NOW. Playful, dangerous, and engaging. And everyone is invited to the party!

Sharing the stage with bands including Vampire Weekend, Finest Hour, and the Capricorns, Jane Lane cites musical influences across a broad spectrum including Death Cab for Cutie, Blink 182, Fugazi, and the Rolling Stones.

Currently the band is developing a half-theater/half-rock show performance piece entitled "The Untimely Death Of Romance". Set in a Victorian-era steampunk cyber city where the good die young and corruption thrives, a young king and his star-crossed love must battle to survive - and also pull their world out of endless darkness.

We are looking for participants of all types (not limited to musicians).
