Named as a tribute to Jangle Rock - a particular genre of mid-sixties music - as exemplified by musical giants like The Byrds, The Hollies, The Beatles, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan and others (including some Jangle Groups from the early seventies and beyond).

The Janglebachs is a group of veteran Washington/Baltimore area musician/singer/performers who play music unlike any other. Featuring former members of Fire & Ice, The Admirals, Antietam, Fireside, Windfall, Up In Smoke, Dave Allen & Hickory, and others… they play music that embodies restlessness & social upheaval, unforgettable melodies and irresistible beats. Music of the soul, spirit and of the mind. Silly music, thoughtful music, compelling music… but all joyful.

The Janglebachs throw into the mix some harder-edged songs from the same era - Yardbirds, Spirit, Animals, Eagles, Jackson Browne, Free - and finally dress it up with a few gems from modern pioneers such as Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, David Bowie and Elvis Costello.

So get out your Nehru Jackets, Tie Dyes and Love Beads,turn on the Lava Lamp and Black Lights,and spend some time digging the music that changed the world forever.
