Hello, I'm Jared, I am 18 and i love to play. i have never played with anyone before but I'm willing to play almost any type of rock or metal. im not very good with the super heavy fast metal so i just wanna keep it fun. any 80's or 90's metal is good and i love to play rush and dream theater. also i could be available as a fill in with enough heads up and i never have worked in a studio, but i would open to the experience. i like to create my own beats and improvise so i am totally up for anything experimental or jazzy. if you want to see my drumming i have videos on my facebook just type in jared lannen and click. Will NOT play country or anything related to it.
I cannot read music, and although it says i am not looking to be in a band i dont mind jamming with people. im a drummer for hire/jam with a drummer type of guy. if we have musical chemistry hell yeah i'll join a band. i am also constantly making up drum solos which i will posting soon if i have not already and i play for hours without tiring, so id be great for breaks in shows or a solo entertainment for any clubs or bars (providing the bar allows me in)

Neil Peart of Rush, any drummer should tell you that. Mike Portnoy from various bands. and mike mangini of Dream theater. pink floyd, blue oyster cult, queen, and queensryche. just call me a progressive guy. anything hard rovk or heavy metal

Equipment List

13" hi-hat, 14" snare 12" and 13" rack tom 15" Floor tom 18" Crash/ride 1 Kick drum with sound percussion double bass pedals. i use remo heads, sabian cymbals and vic firth sticks, if it matters.
i also play a hand percussion african drum called a djembe (Pronounced=Jembay)
