Been jamming with a great bassist weekly for 1.5 years. We do all originals and record our sessions and it's been fun to see what we come up with... there's been some straight rock but mostly prog-rock, fusion, jazz, blues, latin, tribal, world.

All the tracks I've posted are from our jam sessions - they're unedited, unmixed, unplanned, first-take jamming (not a demo!) and it gives a good idea of what we do.

I'm not looking to play out (or tour or be a "rock star"!) - I have a family and career and am not into that but just want to push our creativity as far we can and see where it goes - who knows - maybe even recording and releasing an "album" (or whatever they're called nowadays!).

All I know is I feel so alive when playing and "one with the universe" and am looking for others to partake and have fun with it and to give a lot of creative input and to help guide the journey - by adding guitar/keyboard/vocals/lyrics onto what me and the bassist come up with or you come up with cool stuff and we go for the ride - whatever - let's do it!

EQUIPMENT

Alesis DM-10 Electric Kit, Alesis iO4 4-track digital mixer. Drumset goes into mixer, bass goes into effects pedal and pedal into mixer, mixer into computer, record with Reaper. We listen to ourselves and each other through headphones as we play. Completely digital recording. Sounds great and easy to work with while editing/mixing.
