About

Metal Guitarist looking start or join an existing band. I have written many dozens of songs including many that were used in previous bands as well as some that were not. I would like to start fresh... I have a family/job/responsibilities so am not looking to live the rock star lifestyle anymore but are serious and have my own up to date equipment as well as live and studio recording equipment. Very interested in developing new material, recording, practicing 1 - 2 times a week and even play an occasional local show.

Influences

Influences do not necessarily reflect writing style but they are old school death/thrash such as Entombed, Morbid Angel, Death, Carcass, as well as bands like Opeth, Bloodbath, Katatonia, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, (old) Sepultura, etc.

Equipment List

DI have several guitars but have been using my Schecter C-1 Hellraiser and C-7 Hellraiser lately into BOSS GT-10 into BBE Maximizer and Peavey ValveKing 100 through 1960A and B Marshall 400W 4x12 cabinets.

Been tuning 6-string dropped C and tuning 7-string to dropped A for years but open to other tuning configurations/experimentation.
