Funk is my favorite music, but I also love music that could be called Blues, Jazz, Reaggae, Rock...whatever you call it; as long as it grooves. My playing is akin to that of Dennis Chambers (Parliament, Santana, Steely Dan), or Carter Beauford (Dave Matthews Band)....but DEFINITELY with a dash of Bonham (Zeppelin) and Stanton Moore (Galactic) thrown in for good measure. Which is to say funky, groove-oriented, intricate, yet powerful and *solid*.
