Hi, I’m Jay Arthur, and I’m a… Oh, wait. Never had to do that… Uhm, some might say I’m a jack of all trades, but I do try to specialize in a few. I'm a bassist, trumpeter, and sometimes singer. I teach bass as well as trumpet. I’ve been playing music most of my 29 years of life. I’ve played in a variety of groups and situations. I love pretty much all musical instruments brass. My main instrument though is the bass guitar. Yeah, I used to be a purist and always call it an “electric bass”, but I’ve given up fighting the ignorant masses. *wink* Otherwise, I'm a husband, father, pastor, goofball, etc.
