I've played in numerous bands covering everything from Big Band Jazz & Swing to Chicago/Blood, Sweat & Tears style classic rock groups on both Electric Bass and Trombone. I've arranged many tunes for horn bands and fronted Big bands as well as acted as the MC.

Influences

Early on I had the privilege of playing along side numerous older guys that had been active during the Swing era and playing in pickup bands for Tex Beneke and other greats as they toured through Kansas. I started playing in horn bands in the late '70s and have put together several bands. The latest was more Texas blues-based and covered tunes by SRV and Kenny Wayne Sheperd.

DeArmond Pilot Deluxe 4 string bass guitar, SWR Bass 350 hybrid tube bass amp and an Avatar 12" + horn cabinet. King 3B tenor trombone. I also have a small 6 channel EV PA system with two 12" +horn speaker cabinets.
