Retired and relocated to this area. Got reacquainted with my guitars after 40 years of life and career. Seeking player or two who are better than I am so I can raise my game and get comfortable again playing with decent musicians. I play solid rhythm, serviceable lead, and have a decent arrangement sense. I'd be very pleased to meet a steel player who can show me how to use the instrument I built.

Influences
I'm a product of the 60s. So, folk, R&R of that era, blues, etc. I listen to KRSH in the car if that's an indicator. Been going to Neil Young's annual Bridge School Benefit for years. Saw Van Morrison in Belfast a couple years ago. Went to Jorma Kaukonen's Fur Peace Ranch workshop last year.

EQUIPMENT
I'm partial to Ovation guitars so I have several, 12 and 6, acoustic and acoustic/electric, vintage and newer. Also a Taylor T5z, a vintage Gibson L6-S, a homebuilt Les Paul, and a steel guitar I pulled together. I have a Marshall AS80R amp and a nasty little Fender Mustang Mini. One of the Ovations is set up in Nashville tuning.
